I put together a development guide for the Vision Pro and the biggest lesson is that spatial computing is not '3D UI.' It's a different input model, a different ergonomics problem, and a different mental model for users.
Eye tracking sounds cool until you realize dwell-to-select is a whole usability discipline. And performance budgets are way tighter than people expect.
Anyone else in spatial computing? There's a small but serious community forming.
I wrote this up in more detail in the full blog post — Building for Apple Vision Pro: A Developer's Guide to Spatial Computing — with the deeper context, data, and code. Give it a read if you're curious.
