Why agentic AI beats chatbots for real productivity

I keep coming back to this: the real productivity win isn't a smarter chatbot, it's an agent that can execute a whole task end to end. We noticed it clearly while building Fahhim — the moment the system could act on its own, people started treating it like a colleague, not a tool.

The blog I wrote on this digs into prompt patterns, but the short version is: give the agent a goal, a bounded toolset, and a way to report back, and it outperforms 'ask me anything' chat every single time.
