MetaForge is out: the privacy-first media tool we built out of frustration
We finally shipped MetaForge. It's the tool I wished existed for handling media files on Linux without phoning home to some cloud service.
Privacy-first, open source, and it runs entirely locally. The blog post explains why we built it and what it does, but the tl;dr is: you should be able to trust your media tooling.
Would love feedback from anyone who works with media on Linux. What's your current pain point?
I wrote this up in more detail in the full blog post — Introducing MoTekLab MetaForge: The Ultimate Privacy-First Media Metadata Tagger for Linux — with the deeper context, data, and code. Give it a read if you're curious.
